DCD Automotive purchased Rothrock Motors CDJR and Nissan and will be branding the Allentown stores under its growing Nucar portfolio. The acquisition of the two stores marks their first in Pennsylvania, bringing DC’s platform to 27 dealerships.
The privately owned company based in Massachusetts does over $2 billion in yearly revenue and has plans to grow that to $5 billion through internal growth and acquisitions. These stores will create a synergy with DCD’s Delaware operations and expand their Northeast reach. DCD has dealerships in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, Delaware, and now Pennsylvania and is owned by father and son Dan and Chris Dagesse.
